Default Sat on the punt

any tips?

syd

rc3 - 8 e/w
rc4 - 2 but have a little e/w the 3
rc5 - 1 and 4
rc6 - lots of overs. In order of ratings 4-1-2-5
rc8 - 2-11-1

mel

rc2 - 2 and 4
rc6 - 1 stand out
rc7 - boxed exacter 1 and 9 ( who knows with the extra week between runs i thought denman would be extra soft at 1600 however from his gallap this week he has improved if anything....scary!)
rc 8 - lots of overs. 14-4-8-5

Some good betting races tomorow.

Flemington
Race 2 No 1 Pacino - four runs back, up to 2000, classier horse than these. The Cummings horse way unders here.
Race 3 No 1 Marveen - stick with the class factor. Interested to see how Chouxmaani goes today.
Race 5 No 7 Avienus - sticking with her at very good e/w odds.\
Race 6 No 1 Dao Dao - should win (No 5 Rightfully Yours should run 2nd)
Race 8 No 14 Miss Maren
Race 9 No 10 Common Interest - stands out clearly against these moderate sprinters

Flemington 2 - 2 - Precedence - Fordee
Flemington 5 - 2 - Keeping Score EW
Flemington 6 - 3 - Doctor Fremantle
Flemington 7 - 8 - Rock Classic - Linton
Flemington 8 - 3 - Zipping - Moatize -Littorio -
Flemington 9 - 16 - Lighthorseman

Randwick 3 - 5 - Magic Model
Randwick 4 - 6 - De Lightning Ridge
Randwick 5 - 8 - My Amelia - Zutara
Randwick 6 - 5 - More Than Great - Monton - Kidnapped
Randwick 7 - 10 - Zingaling - Honest Truth
Randwick 8 - 2 - Beaded - Beaucoup

My prepost tips have been getting smashed lately due to predicting the track bias wrong, have added alot with more than one running style to try and adapt.

Yeah massive day!!!

My comment from last week,

Race 7 | Going against Denman for the first time this prep, I am just not sure about him running a strong 1600 metres, I also dont believe his wins this time in have been outstading as he really has beat nothing, I like seeing horses win by big margins, but I dont like when a horse hasnt been tested and at the odds I am happy to work around him as I have him a $2.70 chance.

My Bets have all been placed for this race, have been playing on betfair backing denman, laying denman, backing denman, laying denman and so on and so forth, made some very good coin on this race already, enough to cover 50% of my best so far

$500 on Rock Classic at huge odds, $300 on Linton at double figure odds originally $600 but have traded some at the shorter to lower exposure, $300 Carrara at huge odds.

Reasons, Linton massive improver, Rock Classic- Bart has a habit of looking like he is throwing horses in the deep end, Monton has franked his form but have a look at the number of gear changes for a horse that won last start, classic Bart! - Carrara 2nd Caulfield Guineas and wasnt fancied there either
.

Ended up with $800 on Rock Classic in the end so yeah its going to be a very big night!! Denman just isnt as good as everyone thinks, he wouldnt have won that race under any circumstance, the part that confuses me is that we keep hearing that he will be better with a sit, well he had the perfect opportunity to take one today. I dont like backing horses with huge wraps that have the dodged the good races.

Not really sure where you got this from apart from the fact that it had a good winter campaign last year - it is a complete dud in the wet, but it is multiple Group level placed. I can't have a horse that's won 2 from 14 races (with its win last start by the barest of margins in a pretty average race), and shows even money because it is trained by Bart Cummings - but then again, given Precedence won with 3 fucking legs in the air, you know the rest. I forgot one small but improtant detail - it recently had its balls cut off - instant winner!!!
Well done Laires on Rock Classic - had a saver bet on it on track at 17/1 (I just don't think Denman runs out 1600, and was happy to ignore it) - that and some Brisbane winners got me out the woods for the session.
