While i'm no Tim "6-0" Horan this is my pick for tomorrow.

Loving the White Sox at a $1.75 tomorrow against the Cleveland Indians. Going to pay the chalk to win a unit.

One of the best pitchers in the major league Mark Buehrle will going up against a guy making just his third start total in Mitch Talbot. Talbot has never won a game and is on the cusp of the rotation for the Indians.

The White Sox hitters have been hot and cold this year, but Buehrle has pitched 15 innings on the hill for them in two games ringing up two wins. The White Sox pen also has the edge giving up just 1.89 ERA (the lowest of any MLB pen) against the Cleveland Indians 4.85 ERA.

Imo even in the unlikely event that the White Sox trail tomorrow coming off the mound, I think they can get them late if the backup pitchers play true to form.

I'm on the Chicago White Sox at 1.4 units to win 1 unit.

For my tip I'm taking Over 8 Brewers @ Nationals paying $1.80 at Pinnacle

NB - I'm buying this down half a run from the 8.5 the o/u is currently set at (o/u 8.5 is @ $1.93). It's not a great strategy but I do it anyway.

These are both teams who can hit the ball, and the 2 pitchers today were smacked around in their last start. Early weather reports suggest the wind is blowing out to centre field which should help in 2 ways. When the wind blows out the ball should get a bit extra lift off the bat, but it also affects the pitching, by causing it to hold up a little more in the air. Split hundreds of seconds can be the difference between a perfect sinker which drops as the batter swings, or the ball sitting up over the centre of the plate.

Prince Fielder, the slugger from Milwaukee also loves playing at Nationals Park batting almost .400 with 4 home runs.

I'll admit I'm slightly concerned by the low line (I predicted that this would open at 9.5 or even 10), but still like this bet a lot.

This is my first over / under tip so far and I don't make a lot of them, but I like this one.

If that bet is looking good I'll likely have a 2nd MLB tip for a bit later in the day.

Buehrle is nasty, and the Indians are terrible.

Doesn't help that the National's best batter was ejected from the game in the
first innings ... sigh.

1-1 bottom of 4th and the WhiteSox are down 3-1 in the 5th.

Brewers get 1 ... but going to need a big innings soon by one or both of these teams.

White Sox got it back to a 1 run ball game in the top of the 6th.
