Hot Danish represents pretty good value at $3.50 IMO. If she gets on her Melbourne leg, she wins...... with her Sydney leg in the air

Also agree on Shocking - it's pissing down here so track will def be wet.

EDIT: Purple in the 7th is an absolute mudlark and opened at $4.5 - will shorten

    For the cup - 17-2-15-1
    also have a little each way on mel rc 2 -1 rc 6 - 10/12 rc 9 - 13/15
In syd rc 4 - 5 should win but small fields strange things happen and in
rc 8 - 6/9 are good each way.

With the rain around they will be lucky to race... And in which state/track will " sitka " be running?

I've been given a very strong push in the last (Race 10) at Caulfield, No 20 Varena Miss. Unfortunately it looks like it's already been noticed by the bookies.

In the Cup, I've got them marked as: 2-15-9-1-19

    Race 5 No 4 Soul
    Race 6 No 12 Rothera each-way
    Race 7 No 8 Purple
    Race 9 No 3 Culminate each-way

Connections wouldn't be running the horse if they didn't think it could handle the conditions (it did spank the field in a trial prior to its first up win on a Heavy 10 track, it went on to win 1st up in very easy fashion). With that said, given the shitload of rain Melbourne has now had, I think most horses running today will have some sort of question mark.
The push came from a professional punter friend of mine, and I think the original money has come from that area (was actually in from $7 to $4.80, and now into $3.80 on Sportingbet and $3.40 on TAB Sportsbet)...they definitely haven't missed it.

On the Cup, it may now be a bit too wet for Metal Bender today, and may now look around it.

Sick, with some scratchings Varenna Miss is now into $2.50...
