    Default Mundine Vs Wood

Next Wednesday Anthony Man Mundine vs Garth "The Hood" Wood
Its probably gonna be as one sided as Green vs Briggs and at 1.10 for Mundine should be easy money, probably going to come in to 1.05 or less before the fight.

I give wood a small chance, always will have a punchers chance. He boxed awkward throughout the Contender and came through against much better opponents. This awkwardness might save him here.
If he doesnt flat pass out from 12 rounds of boxing, he might make it through to points decision (probably a loss but yeh make the distance).

Anyway - Backing Mundine to win by Points at what might be a bit of value.

I know Garth personally he is as fit and disciplined as anyone you will ever meet, he just gave up everything when he got this opportunity, he got called in at the last minute after Shannon Taylor withdrew. Sadly Mundine will be way to quick for him.

Roy: Who would you rather be, Scott 'Punty' Smith or Harris 'P.I.M.P' Pavlou?

Puzz: Wow tough question...I believe they are both prophets of the Lord Gamblor

What has he done to stop his tap-like bleeding from above the eyes (which was fairly prevelant in the contender TV series)?

Mundine is fast becoming irrelevant - like Kramer in a karate bout, he hasn't taken on a decent fighter in years.

Not knocking Garth Wood, but Mundine selects journeymen or greenhorns - and he can't KO anyone either.

I would love to see Wood win, and I actually like Mundine - he just has become the (wo)man!
Losing the maximum & winning the minimum.....

He is.. thats why hes trying to go to america and become a real boxer lol he is gonna get smashed over there and I wanna see how cocky he is after it.

BTW Money seems to be coming in for Wood, Centrebet has Wood at 5.50 now and Mundine at 1.13.
Dont think the TAB will market this fight.

Mundine is average, Green was not at his optimum weight back in the day they had there bout, mundine was at his absolute peak..

Mundine take on a real bout.

Couldn't agree with you more, Green was starving himself to make middleweight.
Geale was probably his last good fight and he just barely got through and won. Mundine should fight Geale or Green again, those would be fights to watch.
