I made a packet last year I think it was, on betfair, betting against Lleyton (didn't want to say laying him!). People for some reason love betting on the local heroes, and he didn't really have much of a chance.

yeah i love backing against the aussies with the australian books for that reason

futures wise - i dont think clijsters can win - and i just cant bring myself to liking Djokovic after all the money i have lost on him.

Backing against Aussies on Australian books in tennis is win imo.

I'm thinking Nadal to claim the 'Rafa' Slam. Not sure I want to back Henin given she's been out injured since Wimbeldon, but then again Venus Williams has been out for a while too. So how about a patriotic tip in Sammy Stosur (though back her with overseas books for better value).

yer the mens is gunna be real hof this year, i definately think djokovic represents the best value, and is hitting the ball super well in the hopman cup.
