Im curious to see if the mods allow this to stay up but in short i have had my account status suspended on chipmeup and made to look like a grub, because i am selling an APLPT tour event at 87% of the face value of $1375 and that i had previously listed the other tour events on the site as a custom after the first event was run even though the event was offered on here and purchased well before the event took place, there have also been questions raised about the lotto, footytab, afl quad and horse racing stuff on there that was also offered here. There biggest complaint is that my father and LaLa have purchased heavily, in fact all remaining shares that were passed over by pokernetworkers. As such I will no longer offer up any products of these types via chipmeup and pay there fees for the privelage the thing that annoys me the most is that it looks like im a risk to deal with. As many people on this site know I have placed many wagers on this site purchased shares in players and sold to players and not once have these not been honored promptly, anyway as i said GFY chipmeup

Also confused as to why I'm not allowed to buy shares in anything clintsmydad does? I thought having all share purchases on the record made it all sales transparent.

Getting banned from CMU does taint him unfortunately as it infers there was some kind of dodgy dealing, when they probably just don't like him selling things that aren't poker.

1. By making my status restricted and closing my events
2. the event was already presold i listed it in its entirety after it had started, it wasn't the smartest thing i had ever done but the transaction was legitimate and all parties involved with the purchase and sale felt there was nothing wrong with having it there
3. public school education in the country
4. my hope is that by making people aware of whats going on i do not adversly effect my limited reputation on here

I too can't understand why person X or person Y buying any % in person Z's event is an issue.

Has there been any correspondence from CMU? - Is he banned or suspended?

I am a reactive person, hence the tone of the original post, I am suspended but i am done with chipmeup on the back of this. To say im massively dissapointed is an understatement but apart from clearing up what has happened what else can i do? I intend to buy sell and bet on this forum in the future so i can't really have anything hanging over my head and i feel this is. sigh

It stands to reason that CMU would auto-ban people for listing events after they had run, to protect their users. Otherwise you would be allowing unscrupulous people to sell shares specifically for events they did not cash in.

I'm sure if the investors verify your story there should be no problem, but honestly I do not understand why you feel victimised here. This is exactly the treatment you should expect for doing something so transparently suspicious.

As you may not be aware from time to time the government likes to know where money comes from and goes when you write down income as zero on your tax return yet your bank balance says different so i like to record as much as i can plus having a decent cash on the site doesn't hurt or in my mind wouldn't hurt, as ALI can attest he was offered the aplpt events first but declined, the next person they were offered to snapped them up, he also needed a receipt of the transaction for the reasons listed above. I explained the circumstances surrounding it and they didn't like my explanation specifically this rumNraisan chap that has decided to go on an uninformed crusade against me. To clarify the listing was of an event that i had already cashed in with 2 events to go. Despite my attempts to contact chipmeup admin i have had no response, I cancelled the event and even gave those that purchased a share a 40% return for wasting there time.

Yes, but it should be obvious that if you were being investigated for tax fraud and they look at this 'record' of sale they will be very curious as to why it was created after the event. It looks more like money laundering that not having a record would. If you need to prove a verbal agreement to the government, write up a statement and have all parties sign and date it with witnesses.

It should also be clear that posting up events you have cashed in is quite definately 'gaming' the system as doing so improves your stats. You are mis-representing yourself to the other users. If this were allowed people could start off by back-posting all of their cashes over the last year and simply represent themselves as someone who cashed 100% of the time whenever they posted shares...
