William Thorson opened to 130,000 from the cutoff and Matt Affleck made the call from the big blind.

Affleck check-called a 160,000-chip bet when the flop landed {Ad}{8h}{6s} to see the {8s} land on the turn. Affleck took the initiative and led out for 360,000 with Thorson making the call before the {4s} landed on the river.

Affleck led out strongly once again; this time for 800,000, only to have Thorson make it 2,000,000 to go.

Taking nearly five minutes, Affleck eventually called, only to be shown Thorson's {As}{5s} for the nut flush.

Affleck told me at break that he called with just King-high believe Thorson held 9-7 or something similar

Will make great TV if true. Not really a fan of hero calls for 2 mil though.

Filippi Candio raised and Joseph Cheong reraised to 1.125 million. Candio made the call.

The flop came down and Cheong fired 1.55 million. Candio thought and then announced a raise. He made it 4.425 million. Cheong now had the pressure back on him and tanked. He then moved all in, putting Candio at risk if he would make the call. Candio had 12.1 million and made the call, creating a massive pot of over 25 million!

Candio turned up the for sixes and fives. He was in a world of hurt to Cheong's .

The fans rose and inched closer as Candio left his seat and took refuge behind the media desk. Cheong sat in his chair and waited patiently for the turn and river.

The turn brought the and Cheong dodged one card, but Candio did pick up outs. He now had a straight draw.

The river completed the board with the and Candio spiked his straight. He began running and jumping around off the final table set before embracing with a friend in celebration. Cheong just sat in his seat and counted out the chips to be sent over to Candio. He was knocked down to about 13 million while Candio jumped to a whopping 27 million and is the new leader.

How the fuck is this happening on the final three tables?

This Filippi character is going to make this years final table very interesting as he seems to have no fear.

Although it will be short lived as i think hes used his life time of run good and thats the only way he'll be surviving.

My prediction is he'll make it to 6th at best if Mizrachi can win the 50k and the Main in 1 year he will truly cement his mark as being one of the best tournament players to date.

GOD that Filippi guy makes you sick calling a 4 bet shove with a pair of 5s no kick theres no way that Cheong guy has the AK AQ KQ KJ it has to be a pp and im amazed the guy made it to the 8th day making those kinda calls.
