    Default 2011 WSOP Housing

    Hey Guys,

Myself and a couple of others are looking to get a house in Vegas during WSOP, we've found a place and plan to book it very soon. We're looking to find a few more people who are interested in sharing with us so PM or skype me if your interested and I'll send more details.

    Thanks

Out of curiosity where is the place and what agent did you use? I've been looking at some condos but haven't found a suitable one yet. Heading out with some friends, we're looking mostly at Veer and Meridian at the moment. Any chance you could PM me the agent you went with's details if he got you a decent deal and has more places available?

    Hi Republican,

Im heading over to watch a couple of mates/family members. Unfortunately cannot stay with them as they have families. Would love to find a place to stay with some familiar names/faces.

Where abouts are you staying etc?

Hit me up on PM. Would love to get things squared away over the next week or so in an ideal world.

I would STRONGLY advise against Meridian.

    Hi Republican,

Any chance you could provide the names of those confirmed to stay? I'm interested but wouldn't want to get over there to find the group unsuited to my personal tastes.

    Cheers

Why? I've stayed there the last two years and it's great value for the price. Granted the realtors there are a pain in the ass but I have a guarantee this realtor is good from someone I trust. Got a 2br there today so chances are i'll be staying there this summer. Sure PP MGM Sig and Veer are nicer but for the price you'd be hard pressed to find anything better. I'd rather stay at Veer but can't seem to find anywhere willing to do a 6 week lease

If you have a trustworthy realtor you should be ok ... But they are few and far between at that place. But it sounds like you know that so you should be fine.

Oh yeah I know that thats why i'm specifically going through this guy. I had to googlebomb sabotage my 09 realtor with a 2+2 thread of 'do not do business with sigrid marmann' after she gave me a cheque that bounced for 600 or so. After telling her to google herself, she stalled for a few months, threatened to sue me despite everything stated in thread being a fact AND her having committed a crime bouncing a cheque to me, then eventually she apologised and sent me a new cheque (5 mths later). This one cleared. She asked me to delete the thread. I did not, although I stopped bumping it so last I saw it was number 2 or 3 for her name instead of 1.

Jennifer Martin who I went with in '10 is just as bad; she invented charges last year and claimed we handed in the keys 4 days late then sent me a $70 cheque of the 700 we were owed with a letter stating by cashing this cheque you agree to the charges. I didnt cash it and i'm going to threaten to sue her in person this year to get the money back and follow through in small claims if necessary, it's not the money it's the principle.

Ted Finkleman (the guy i'm going with this year) comes highly recommended by TT, the 2+2 mod, so i'm hoping this guy is trustworthy, in any case i've asked him to refund my bond in cash upon inspection/departure hopefully I can get that clause written into the lease then i'm protected since i'll just keep the keys and refuse to leave if they try to screw with me this year.

Oh also a warning; don't do business with Sigrid Marmann or Jennifer Martin obviously. You guys have been warned.

lol i just checked and my 2+2 thread about sigrid marmann is still number one for her name. Guess i'll tell Jennifer Martin about the thread if they refuse to give me back the deposit when I get to vegas this summer and make them one as well if they continue being untrustworthy
