Sif mess with our action at 3-1

(fwiw 3-1 is a ridiculous price)

Out of curiosity do I count as Australian as a dual citizen who lives in Australia but will likely be playing on American passport for tax reasons? Because I kinda plan to win the WSOP ME this year.

You have a better chance of being liked on this forum, than winning the WSOP

You live in Australia and have citizenship. So you'd count. If you lived in the US the majority of the time, I assume it wouldnt count.

Things we need to iron out so no one gets angled.

Yes, it most definitely should count.

I seem to recall last year that bookmakers were offering greater than 2-1 on just a non North American winning it all.
Not sure, but I dont see anyone else snapping up 7:1

7-1 is probably +EV due to less than 1/7th of ME entrants being aussie, but it's a small upside and big downside if you're the one laying 7-1

I'd take the bet at 3-1 and probably at 4-1; but at 5-1+ risking 10k to win 2k, while +EV, just doesnt seem worth it variance wise

Lmao!! I see no reason what so ever to escrow $2000. It just adds a whole nother risk to the cash.
Maybe if we were talking $10,000 each then we would use an escrow but seeing we are both in Australia, and the money is so small, I wouldnt use an escrow with my business for this type of cash, I'm not going to use one now.

If dude welches on his bet, or I do on mine, then it's going to add a serious uncomfortable factor to sitting down at any future tournaments. Thanks but no thanks.
however, if you would like to borrow $2000, I can loan it to you with an interest of 10% a day

I'm liking the odds of 4:1, I'm defo up to lay down another $3000 if I can get 7:1, but that means all my prop betting and all my chip me up cash-flow is spent.
My gut tells me a Aussie will win it this year, it just feels right..... Poker has taken a huge dive in the live game in Australia, it needs a pick me up, there are some ayers running very well at the moment and some on a huge mission, and I just feel things will fall into place.
If I can turn $5000 into $22,000 while watching an Aussie win 10million dollars, then that's going to be a fun day
