In a limped pot on a flop of {5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}, Jason Gray check-raised all in over the top of the bet of Michael Binger who quickly called.

"I have the second nuts?" Binger posed as he tabled {2-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}.

Gray showed a set with {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}.

Needing the board to pair to survive, Gray watched as the turn fell the {8-Spades} and river the {7-Spades} to end his tournament in 4th place for AU$42,570 in prize money.

David Ewing Eliminated in 5th Place (AU$30,960)

Michael Zowie limped in from under the gun, David Ewing completed and Michael Binger checked his option in the big blind.

They saw a flop of {7-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} and the action checked to Zowie who fired 5,000. Ewing made the call and Binger stepped aside.

The turn was the {J-Diamonds} and that's when the fireworks started. Ewing led for 15,000 and Zowie instantly moved all in. Ewing beat him into the pot and the cards were tabled.

Ewing: {Q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Zowie: {10-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

Ewing had turned a queen-high straight with a flush draw but Zowie held the nut straight. The river was the {10-Spades} and Ewing was left to lament "What a sick turn card!" as he exited in 5th place collecting AU$30,960 in prize money.

Field's Full House Too Good for Zowie

Michael Zowie limped into the pot from under the gun before Josh Field made it 9,000 to go from the cutoff. The table folded back to Zowie who made the call.

The flop was {5-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and both players checked. The turn was the {10-Spades} and Zowie led out for 16,000. Field thought for a moment and made the call.

The river brought the {5-Spades} and Zowie threw out a small bet of 15,000. Field deliberated and weighed up his options for a long time before exclaiming something along the lines of wanting to raise, before making the call.

Field was confident he was in front as he showed his hand first -- {5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{A-Spades}{7-Spades} for the full house. It was good as Zowie mucked.

Zowie slips back to 70,000 with Field now out to 180,000.

David Ewing raised to 4,000 from the button before Michael Binger made it 14,000 to go from the small blind. Michael Zowie was in the big blind and he put in another pot-sized raise.

Ewing quickly folded as Binger shrugged and moved all in. Zowie called.

Binger: {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Zowie: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}

The flop hit Binger hard when it fell {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{8-Spades} but the {A-Clubs} on the turn hit Zowie even harder. The river was the {4-Diamonds} and Zowie doubles through. He's now up to over 100,000 with Binger back down to 43,000.

Action Slow

There has yet to be a showdown since the last break with players content to play small ball. Josh Field and Michael Binger continue to lead, while Jason Gray is fighting hard with the short stack.

Michael Pesek Eliminated in 6th Place (AU$23,220)

Michael Pesek - 6th Place
Michael Pesek - 6th Place
Jason Gray limped from under the gun and Michael Binger came long in the cutoff. Michael Pesek completed the small blind and Josh Field checked his option in the big blind.

The flop came {6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and the action checked to Binger in position who fired 4,000. Pesek called in the small blind, before Field check-raised to 12,000. Gray folded, as did Binger, as Pesek went into the tank.

Pesek took a glance at Field's stack, removed his sunglasses, before slowly sliding the rest of his chips into the middle. Field snap-called.

Pesek: {A-Spades}{5-Spades}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Field: {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

Pesek was still drawing as Field had flopped the nut straight. The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and river the {Q-Diamonds} and Pesek becomes our 6th place finisher as "JJProdigy" adds to his stack.
