Noah Schwartz made it 35,000 to go and Sam Higgs made the call. The flop came down {A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and Schwartz led out for 28,000. Higgs took his time before putting in a reraise to 68,000 and was immediately met with an all-in shove from Schwartz.

Higgs folded just as quickly to see him slip to 220,000, as Schwartz climbs back to 405,000 in chips.

Alexander Debus limped from the small blind before meeting a raise to 25,000 from Thomas Lindbjerg in the big blind. Debus made the call before check-folding for 35,000 on a board of {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{7-Spades}.

A few hands later facing a raise to 25,000 from Sam Higgs, Debus made it 65,000 and Higgs called. The flop fell the {k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Higgs checked to Debus who fired out 65,000. Higgs went into the tank before eventually folding, to see Debus climb back to 445,000 in chips.

Higgs Takes One From Lindbjerg

Sam Higgs opened to 18,000 from under the gun and was met with a 48,000-chip reraise from Thomas Lindbjerg, which he called.

It was checked down to the river where Higgs led out for 30,000 on a board of {3-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Lindbjerg made the call. Higgs tabled {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} to take the pot down with middle-pair as Lindbjerg mucked his hand.

With that pot Higgs moved up to 405,000 in chips as Lindbjerg slipped to below 700,000.

The turn brought the {K-Diamonds} and Higgs led for 26,000, only to be met with a reraise all in to 105,000. Higgs made the call and the cards were tabled:

Jonathan Dull opened to 20,000 and Phillip Peters made the call. Thomas Lindbjerg then reraised to 88,000. Only Dull called.

The flop fell {A-Spades}{6-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} and Lindbjerg led out for 80,000 with Dull making the call. Both players checked down the {6-Spades} turn and the {4-Hearts} river.

Lindbjerg tabled {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and took down the pot. launching him to 740,000 in chips as Dull is left with only 270,000 in chips.

The flop fell a disaster for McIver, landing {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}! Thinking it couldn't get worse, the {7-Spades} fell on the turn to make quads for Lysemose. Just to rub it in, the {Q-Clubs} fell on the river. McIver was eliminated with queens full versus quad-sevens!

As Lysemose raked in the pot , McIver exited the tournament floor in 9th place for AU$14,896 in prize money.
