Tony G Avoids Bad Beat

On Day 1a, Tony G was eliminated holding two kings against an opponent's pocket nines. He nearly received another bad beat moments ago when he called a 25,000-chip five-bet shove with two red aces. His opponent tabled , and the flop fell . Any spade or any king would've doubled Tony G's opponent, but the turn and river bricked , respectively.

"Nearly got there," Tony G blurted after the hand. "You had everything coming."
