Mozdzen Moves Out Before Dinner

Posted 2012-05-31 GMT-6 by

Clayton's Mozdzen's dinner won't taste quite as good, as he was eliminated on the last hand before the break. It was folded around to Nick Jivkov, who raised it to 8,500. Mozden was in the big blind, and he raised pot. Jivkov put him all in, and Mozdzen made the call. The cards were tabled, and Jivkov was well out in front.

Jivkov: {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Mozdzen: {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

The flop almost hit Mozdzen, coming down {7-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. The turn was an action card, the {9-Hearts}, giving Jivkov a flush draw, but Mozdzen a straight draw. The river was a dud though, the {2-Clubs}, and Jivkov upped his stack to 115,000 just before dinner, while Mozdzen was sent packing in 23rd.
