2013 Asia Championship of Poker Just Around the Corner

Posted 8 days 7 hours ago by Tim Duckworth

The second running of the annual Asia Championship of Poker (ACOP) is back from October 18th to November 3rd and will be held by PokerStars LIVE at the City of Dreams in Macau.

The 17-day schedule sees 12 ACOP Title Events and HK$27,500,000 in guaranteed prizepools across five of those events with the HK$25,000 ACOP Warm-Up (HK$5 million guarantee) and HK$100,000 ACOP Main Event (HK$20 million guarantee) headlining the schedule. Following the success in 2012, the ACOP Main Event prizepool guarantee has been doubled, and even with the approximate AU$13,500 buy-in, a stellar field will be expected as players look to follow in the footsteps of 2012 Champion Xing Zhou.

Along with the ACOP Warm-Up and Main Event, there are other great events on the schedule that will satisfy every poker player making the trek to Macau. The ACOP opens with a HK$2,500 Rebuy Championship before being followed by a Deepstack Championship and 6-Max Championship before the Ladies Asia Championship is followed by the PLO Championship, KO Big Bounty and Turbo Championship before a HK$250,000 High Roller (with 1 rebuy) concludes the series.
