ANZPT Melbourne Schedule Announced

It may have only been a few short weeks ago that the Australia New Zealand Poker Tour (ANZPT) descended on the Crown Casino, Melbourne but the popular tour returns again at the end of October for the first event of the ANZPT's fifth season.
Running between Oct.11 and Oct. 20m, the ANZPT Melbourne festival will feature 12 official events that should attract some of the best poker players from the region. Kicking things off will be a $250 event that is sure to be extremely popular and that will be followed by a $50 tournament that will boast a massive $100,000 guaranteed prize pool! $100,000 for just $50, wow!
Although each and every event will be fiercely contested it will be the $2,200 ANZPT Melbourne Main Event that everyone wants to win. The last time the ANZPT was at the Crown Casino it was for the season-ending Grand Final and it featured a $4,700 Main Event. That particular tournament attracted 257 runners and was eventually won by the British pro Sam Razavi, who walked way with $326,125. Razavi has a fondness for tournaments in Australia so we fully expect him to return to the Crown to attempt to win back-to-back ANZPT titles.
