APT Asian Series Mauritius Just Around The Corner

The Asian Poker Tour (APT) is currently in Macau where the Main Event has reached the final table but those who have busted out are already planning their next APT adventure, the APT Asian Series Mauritius.

The eagerly anticipated festival will run between Sunday 19 August right through to Sunday 26 August and will feature nine open events and a special invitational event. All buy-ins will be in Euros and range between €100 and €3,300 (AUD$116 - $3,845).

The opening event is a €110 buy-in No Limit Hold'em Freezeout that kicks off at 14:00 on Aug. 19 with the second official event taking place at 20:00 on the same day, a €100 buy-in “Add-On for Charity” tournament.

The tournament that everyone will want to win is the €900 buy-in APT Asian Series Mauritius Main Event. Day 1a of this tournament starts at 20:00 on Wednesday 22 August with Day 1b kicking off at the same time on the following day but in a Re-Entry format. This means that anyone who busted out on Day 1a will be able to re-enter in Day 1b with a full stack, providing they pay the full buy-in and entry fee.

Other highlights include a €220 Head Hunter tournament, a €2,200 High Roller and a €3,300 “Battle of the Nations” invitational that is sure to attract some of the big names in poker.
