It didn't matter where you looked in the PokerStars client on Monday as Australian players were seen posting final tables in The Sunday Warm-Up, the Sunday 500 and the Sunday Million.
The PokerStars Sunday Million is the biggest weekly tournament on all the internet and Australian players have seen much success in that event including seeing Jesse 'On The Mac' McKenzie taking down that event for a huge six-figure score a few months ago.
This past Monday saw another chance for a local player to bring home a similiar score as the unknown 'LuckyKid824' made his way to the final table of the prestigious event.
It took almost twelve hours to get there and the player would have been licking his lips at the chance to go into the record books as a Sunday Million victor. Unfortunately that dream would be cut short in 7th place, but LuckyKid824 still went home with a very impressive $30,026 for his great effort.

Another player who was making a run at a victory in the majors on Monday morning was Minh 'Miksta' Nguyen. The event carries a $500,000 guarantee but a big field easily smashed that prize pool as Nguyen would make his way to the final table with hopes of cashing in on the lion's share of that monster prizepool.
Unfortunately Nguyen wouldn't be able to make it further than 8th place. As a consolation, Nguyen received a handy $9,200 for his effort.

The PokerStars 500 is often regarded as one of the tougher Sunday major events and as such it is comendable for any player to make the final table of this massive event. This past Monday saw Australia's Joey 'jcl87' Lawrence doing just that.
It took almost twelve hours to get there but eventually Lawrence would be sitting five-handed and still in contention for the over $70,000 first place prize. Lawrence fought gallantly but was sent home in a respectable 5th place, receiving $20,462.
