The newest issue of Bluff Australasia hits the stands today, and with the new edition, Bluff Australasia has also taken the opportunity to announce a change in management. However Stephen Doig (general manager), Sean Callendar (editor-in-chief), and Nick Varnavelias (advertising manager) – the team who were behind the first two issues, still remain.
There’s some exciting news for Australian Poker League players – during October, every place-getter at an APL event will receive a free copy of Bluff Australasia. If you’re feeling a bit left out though, don’t worry because the team at Bluff is working hard to try and make the magazine free every month, for everyone. General Manager Stephen Doig confirmed that, “We are currently in discussions with all Australasian casino poker rooms to ensure that, like the USA, that Bluff Australasia will be available free to all poker players.”
The next issue of Bluff Australasia is literally bigger and better, as it has increased in size and sports a new clean layout. With the 2006 WSOP having wrapped up, expect a full round-up from the event, including an exclusive interview with Jamie Gold. There’s also a feature on young gun and dual bracelet winner Jeff Madsen, plus a rundown on the Aussie achievements – Mark Vos’ bracelet win and Joe Hachem’s stellar title defence.
All the news from the recent Victorian Poker Championships is also included, plus all the regular columns and news on the upcoming series of Joker Poker.
You can find the latest edition of Bluff Australasia in all good newsagents across Australia and New Zealand, RRP $6.95.
