Bradley "BaZa88" Bower Moves Up The Rankings: Now Second In Australia

Australia’s top ten online players ranking got a bit of shake up this week as Bradley "BaZa88" Bower made an assault on the summit jumping from fourth to second and piled the pressure on incumbent leader brownie682’s position. There were no new entrants to the elite ten this week but bazooka87 hasn’t had an online cash since April 12th and will drop out of the rankings soon as he is currently surviving off his illustrious past performance.
Still hanging in at the top is brownie682. However, he saw his PocketFives.com ranking points reduce this week as he only managed one four figure score this week. Playing under the handle aussie_star1 on Pokerstars the highlight of his week came in the The Hotter $109 Turbo No Limit Hold’em as he cashed in fifth place good enough for $1,392. The rest of his week was disappointing with only some small cashes to show for the effort he put in.
Bradley “BaZa88”Bower had a decent week grinding making the money in some massive fields on Pokerstars. He had eleven cashes last Sunday and the highlight of that day and his week was a huge score in the $109 No Limit Hold’em Turbo with one rebuy and add on. The tournament drew 798 players and the Aussie finished in second place beating out the world’s number one ranked online player Flush_Entity into third place. Bower earned $25,753 for his efforts to add to his $1.745 million in online tournament earnings. It was good enough for him to jump the rankings from fourth to second.
There was heavy volume again for Jonathan ”xMONSTERxDONGx” Karamalikis as he cashed 41 times this week which was enough to see his ranking score increase but he still dropped down to third place in the Aussie top ten. Only 4 of his cashes were final tables and 5th was his best finish in a bwin $100 event for $1,066. His biggest score of the week came in one of his two SCOOP cashes; he made the final table of the $2,100 No Limit Hold’em 10 Max Shootout where he finished up in 9th place for $6,400.
Outside the top three, aces_up4108 had six cashes above the four figure mark. This grinder had his best result for $4,436 last Thursday in the Pokerstars $109 No Limit Hold’em Turbo with one rebuy and add on. Although, with $25,000 up top there will probably be still a bit of a sour taste in his mouth about not extracting more back to his online bankroll. Dylan “WhiteRabbito” Honeyman moved from 10th place to 6th in the Australian top ten but his ranking score actually remained the same reflecting the slow week online for the Aussie top ten players. His best results were two scores just under $2k. He also added three SCOOP cashes to his online resume. Holding tenth spot in the rankings, tollgate, reeled in a five figure cash for $10,478 in the $109 No Limit Hold’em Turbo on Pokerstars. He faced stiff competition heads-up eventually losing to the world ranked fifth best player, mtstackin88. Knocking hard on the door of the top ten is FUZZBUNGLE, he took home 11th place in the SCOOP #21 $2,100 No Limit Hold’em for $20,541.
The top ten remained unchanged in its composition this week but expect that to change soon. Can brownie682 hold onto his lead at the top? Stay right here on PokerNetwork to find out!
