Dylan "WhiteRabbito" Honeyman: Perth's Number One Poker Player
● Posted at 09:35 2012-04-27 by Barry Gallagher
As ANZPT Perth began yesterday many locals will see the tournament as a once a year shot to make some big money playing cards. For Dylan “WhiteRabbito” Honeyman it’s his annual shot to put his mark on his home town felt. Whether he is successful or not over the next 11 days Honeyman is the undisputed poker sheriff of Perth.
In fact, he is the top online player in the entire Western Australia state and is currently ranked 10th in Australia. PocketFives rank him as the 73rd best tournament player in the world. Honeyman recently passed the magic $1 million dollar in online tournament earnings.
WhiteRabbito crushes on Pokerstars.com and has 24 cashes above $5,000 since the beginning of 2012. In January, the online phenom notched up his biggest cash ever when he took second in the $109 Sunday Rebuy for $43,684. Only two days ago he took down the The Big $55 for $18,312 defeating English pro AJKMoscow heads up.
A true grinder, every day Honeyman plays a full schedule of tournaments on Pokerstars.com with buy-ins ranging from $11 rebuys to the bigger Sunday buy-ins.
He has yet to make a significant impact on the live felt but has three cashes to his name including a 37th place at the Melbourne Poker Championships for $2,500. But which so much success online it’s hard to see him committing too much time to live exploits right now.
But he is likely to take his attention away from the computer screen next week as the poker road show rolls into his home territory. He lists the casino at the Burswood Entertainment Complex as his favourite place to play. Whatever happens at ANZPT Perth you can be guaranteed he will be back to the virtual felt very soon accumulating more lifetime winnings and ranking points.

Really...do any of these writers do any research when they write these articles...Dylan no longer resides in Perth....let alone Australia....i believe he is set up in Canada now according to 2+2 forums...Dylan hasnt ventured near the Perth casino for about a year..and there is "big" money to be made at more than one poker event a year in Perth...Championship events are held roughly 3 times a year with usually approx $100K first prize in each of those main events..writers drivel Barry quoting from pocketfives.
The whitehoneyrabbito was last seen check/raising a tribe of Mbuti pygmies on his way through the Congo.
