The Full Tilt Online Poker Series XXI continued on Saturday with three big events. Event #31: $2,100 No-Limit Hold'em Multi-Entry, Event #32: $216 Limit Stud Hi/Lo and Event #33: $109 No-Limit Hold'em Rush w/Rebuys all took place, but only two of the events reached completion.
Event #31 was a two-day monster with a big $2,100 buy-in and $500,000 guarantee. With 699 entries, the guarantee was easily surpassed as he field played down to the money before pausing until Sunday. In Event #32, "lemberg1715" took down the title after beating 251 other players, and in Event #33, Kevin "-1SickDisease-" Eyster became the first two-jersey winner of this series after defeating an amazing final table.
Here's a look at the results from Friday's FTOPS XXI events:
As one could expect, this large buy-in event attracted the best of the best from the online poker world including Full Tilt Poker Professional Viktor "Isildur1" Blom. Unfortunately for Blom, his two bullets bowed out in 186th and 482nd place, which was well short of the money. Other notables who entered twice (the maximum allowed entries), but busted outside of the money were Sam "aaajack" Chartier, Carter "bdybldngpkrplyr" Phillips, Shannon "BLUFFforRENT" Shorr and Keven "Stamdogg" Stammen.
With the top 72 players finishing in the money, the player to bust in 73rd would be feeling extra heartbroken. That position belonged to Jason "NovaSky" Koon and his second entry. Koon's first entry was bounced in 357th place before the second one fell on the bubble. With his elimination, the tournament came to an end for the day, and all remaining players locked up $3,145.50 in prize money.
Leading the way into Day 2 was Anthony "holdplz" Spinella with 176,820 in chips. Right behind him was Keith "DaMurdera3" Ferrera with 163,446.

|8||Matt "NoBadBeatsPlz" Kay||109,558|
|9||Sebastian "p00cket00" Sikorski||106,212|
Other notables to advance to Day 2 were Mickey "Mement_mori" Petersen (95,433), Nick "FU_15" Maimone (89,023), Alexander "PostflopAction" Kostritsyn (74,050) and Christian "charder30" Harder (64,498). All four of those players entered twice, but each had only one survive. Day 2 will resume at 10:00 a.m. ET on Sunday.
The guarantee of $20,00 well easily surpassed in Event #32 as 252 runners came out to action and generated a prize pool of $50,400. The top 32 players cashed in the event, earning at least $403.20. Of those to cash was Thayer "THAY3R" Rasmussen in 21st place for $453.60.
Winning the event was the Ukraine's "lemberg1715" for $11,243.48 after making a heads-up deal with runner-up Jon "EMSBas" Spinks from the United Kingdom. Notables Stephen "stevie444" Chidwick and Jon "PearlJammed" Turner also made the final table, but fell in third place and sixth place, respectively.

For the third time on Saturday, the FTOPS XII guarantee was smashed for an event, as 766 players came out for Event #33. After 2,060 rebuys and 491 add-ons, the prize pool of $331,700 was well over double the $150,000 guarantee for nearly $80,000 of that would be awarded to the winner.
The top 72 spots were set to pay out, and once again it was a notable who stone bubbled the event. Brandon "CompleteDonk" Barnes finished in 73rd place, before Ferrera and Koon went on to min-cash. As the final table approached, notable names were everywhere. Following the eliminations of Eric "blizair" Blair in 11th place and Márcio "marciocid" Cid in 10th place, the final nine were set.
Among those to reach the final table were Corey "Comandr_Cool" Burbick, Mayu Roca "MURIBE" Uribe, Mike "GoLeafsGoEh" Leah, Kyle "KJulius10" Julius and Kevin "-1SickDisease-" Eyster. Also at the final table was "Iammoron", who was making his second final table of the day after finishing seventh in Event #32.
Burbick fell in eighth place for $7,960.80, Uribe was eliminated in sixth place for $14,926.50, "Iammoron" was bounced in fifth place for $21,560.50 and Leah hit the rail in fourth for $28,194.50. That left Eyster, Julius and "shhhookem". No deal was discussed, and Julius eliminated "shhhookem" in third place before taking a lead into heads-up play against Eyster. It was just a few days ago on FTOPS Day 11 that Eyster scooped his first FTOPS jersey in Event #25, and he now had a chance for his second.
The two swapped the chip lead a couple of times, before the final hand came up. At the time, Eyster had the lead and raised on the button. Julius three-bet, Eyster four-bet, Julius five-bet, Eyster shoved and Julius called off. Eyster's proved best against the for Julius as he couldn't connect with the board. For his finish, Julius earned $49,755 while Eyster scooped the $79,608 first-place prize and his second gold jersey.
|1||Kevin "-1SickDisease-" Eyster||$79,608|
|2||Kyle "KJulius10" Julius||$49,755|
|4||Mike "GoLeafsGoEh" Leah||$28,194.50|
|6||Mayu "MURIBE" Roca Uribe||$14,926.50|
|8||Corey "Comandr_Cool" Burbick||$7,960.80|
Saturday's action on the virtual felt saw some adjustments made to the FTOPS XXI leader board. "callyoudown" remained at the top with 706 points, but that number will rise as he has cashed in Event #31 and will return for Day 2 in 44th place out of the remaining 72 players.
|2||Kevin "-1SickDisease-" Eyster||568|
|T-3||Bryn "OneUponAStar" Kenney||553|
|5||Mike "GoLeafsGoEh" Leah||517|
|T-8||Sebastian "p00cket00" Sikorski||454|
Eyster's second victory shot him up to second place with 568 points, dropping "DoktorGre" back to a tie for third place with Bryn "OneUponAStar" Kenney, who picked up some points in Event #32. Leah also moved up after reaching the final table in Event #33. Needless to say, Sunday's final day of FTOPS XXI will be very interesting as several players are within striking distance to win the $10,000 FTOPS XXII package that goes to the leader board winner.
On Sunday, the series comes to a close and does so with a bang. Event #31 will play down to a winner starting at 10:00 a.m. ET, and two other events will be taking place. Event #34: $240 + $16 NL Hold'em 6-Max Knockout Multi-Entry ($600,000 guarantee at 1030 ET) and Event 35: $600 + $40 NL Hold'em Multi-Entry Main Event ($1,500,000 guarantee at 1330 ET) are both scheduled to make it one heck of a big day.
