Full Tilt Poker have always been amongst the market leaders in the online poker industry, but they’re about to take it to the next level, having recently undergone a facelift and made its software easier to use for its players.
The most recent Full Tilt Poker software update not only includes bug fixes from the previous version, but also some innovative features that will improve your playing experience.
The first thing you’ll notice are the changes to the lobby after you log in – the Classic View has been removed and replaced with the new Mini View. It’s a smaller version of the Classic View which reduces the size of the lobby on your monitor. You won’t miss any information though, as one click on the right-hand side of the lobby window brings up a widget which will give you all the vital statistics.
The waiting lists for ring games have also been streamlined, with Full Tilt Poker introducing the Ring Game Table Finder. Rather than having to wait for a specific table, it puts you on a waiting list for the table limits you want, similar to when you register for a ring game at a casino. Once a seat opens up, you’ll be offered a seat automatically. All the information on that table is displayed in the dialogue box.
Full Tilt have also eliminated the column in the lobby which displays how many people are waiting for a specific table, as with the high demand these days, these figures change very quickly. If you need to view all your waiting lists, it’s as simple as clicking on the “Requests” option in the lobby, then click on “View My Waiting Lists” in the drop-down menu.
Full Tilt have also streamlined the Sit-‘N’-Go options for its players as well. Like the ring games, the SNG’s also feature a widget which shows the player lists and other crucial information. The best thing about this widget is that you can buy-in directly from the Full Tilt lobby and not have to negotiate through all the individual SNG lobbies. It also gives you the option to buy-in to other SNG’s of the same type, making it more efficient when it comes to setting up your multi-table grind.
Full Tilt have also introduced new Achievement Badges, which some players may be familiar with from the Iron Man Challenge. There are now three more badges that a player can earn – the Rush Poker Badge, the Full Tilt Poker Academy Badge and the True Poker Badge – and there are reportedly more on the way.
Automatic crash reporting has been implemented, so if you find yourself in the middle of a crucial hand and your client goes on the blink, it’s as easy as clicking a button to let the Full Tilt team know what happened. Finally, all tables with one person seated at them will show up in the lobby in random order, rather than in alphabetical order, eliminating any advantage a player may have in sitting on a table starting with A.
More and more features and improvements are on the way, but in the meantime, if you want to try them out for yourself, download Full Tilt Poker today!
