Full Tilt Poker is stepping up its presence in major live poker events around the globe with the latest stop being the ever-popular Australia New Zealand Poker Tour (ANZPT).

Last week, our friends at UK & Ireland PokerNews revealed Full Tilt Poker had unveiled four new Red Pros who would serve as ambassadors to the UK’s flagship live poker series, the United Kingdom & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT). Ireland’s Dermot Blain, and the British trio of Martins Adeniya, Sinem Melin and Ben Jenkins now fly the Full Tilt Poker flag on the UKIPT, on Full Tilt Poker’s online site and in any events they play across the globe.

Before the start of the ANZPT Queenstown Main Event Day 1a, Full Tilt Poker announced a trio of AZNPT Ambassadors who will represent Full Tilt Poker at ANZPT events and beyond. Jono Karamalikis and Tom Grigg will represent Australia, while Liam O’Rourke is the Ambassador for New Zealand.

Dustin Iannotti, Full Tilt Poker’s Senior Manager of Pro, Celebrity and VIP Marketing, said in a press release, “Our ANZPT Ambassadors represent everything Full Tilt Poker stands for. They are talented players with a passion for constantly improving their skill set, supporting grassroots poker and spreading the word about the game.”

O’Rourke and Grigg competed on Day 1a of the ANZPT Queenstown Main Event where Grigg progressed to Day 2, but O’Rourke busted during proceedings. Karamalikis is set to play in the same tournament so look out for updates on him during Day 1B or Day 1C.

PokerNetwork would like to congratulate the new ANZPT Ambassadors and wishes them continued success at the felt.
