After four days of tough poker action the fourth installment of the Joe Hachem Deep Stack Series Main Event has reached a final table.
784 players took to the felt just a few days ago, and after many bad beats, rivered flushes and outdraws only ten players remain. Yesterday it took just over twelve hours and 264 eliminations, but we have finally reached our final table!
Early on Day 2 we lost previous champions Amanda De Cesare, Luke Santo and Daniel Botta, meaning a new JHDSS would be crowned, along with some of Australia's best players including Michael Guzzardi, Ben Delaney, Tony Hachem, James Broom and Jarred Graham all before we reached the money.
Paul Birman and Lee Binh chopped up the bubble payout when they were eliminated on the same hand as Kel Beattie (64th), Mat Hawker (59th), Dave Lee (41st), Zane Ly (36th), Mark Furniss (30th), Danny Joukhadar (29th), Andrew Demetriou (24th), Sam Korman (20th) and Paul Taylor (16th) all managed to scrape into the money.
Joe Pascoe went on a huge heater late last night to take over the chip lead and amount a 3,790,000 chip stack - just over 1.6 million more than his nearest rival Sam Welch.
