Full Tilt Poker’s hugely successful low-stakes poker series is back, boasting 25 events with more than four million dollars in guaranteed tournament action. With all of the Mini-FTOPS events mirroring those played at the recent FTOPS XIV held in November, there is no better-value way to get “big game” experience.
All the action gets underway on Thursday, December 10 at 1:00pm AEDST. The opening event is a $20+2 No Limit Hold ’em freezeout guaranteeing at least US$250,000 in the prize pool. As with all the FTOPS action, that guarantee should be easily surpassed, creating a monster prize pool for a tiny price. Of course if it doesn’t pass the guarantee, that’s even better for the players in the tournament who get overlay action.
It’s not just the huge guarantees that are causing the big fields to flock to the FTOPS and Mini-FTOPS series. Full Tilt Poker are throwing in extra value for all players who make the final table of a Mini-FTOPS event. Final-tablists will receive a limited-edition Mini-FTOPS jacket. Winners in each Mini-FTOPS will also win a silver Mini-FTOPS jersey to go along with their first place prize money and mini-FTOPS jacket.
There is also an added-value Mini-FTOPS Leaderboard that will see the overall series winner collect a special prize package which includes entry to every FTOPS XV event (excluding the Two-Day Event). The prize package is expected to be worth approximately US$7,500 in tournament entries.
The highlights on the Mini-FTOPS XIV schedule include a $30+3 buy-in hold ’em event, and a two-day $250+16 buy-in hold ’em event with antes in play from the start, both with US$400,000 guaranteed up for grabs.
Of course, no series would be complete without a Main Event and the Mini-FTOPS Main Event does a fantastic job of continuing the big value theme. For just $50+5 players can take their shot at a US$600,000 prize pool. This series is a fantastic opportunity for players who may be a little low on their bankroll to take a shot at huge prize pools.
For those more than a little short on bankroll, Full Tilt Poker have a full range of satellite option starting from just $0.50 or even FTP Points freerolls.
