The impressive line up will feature daily Main Event Satellites, a variety of tournaments including Omaha, Omaha Hi Lo, 5 Card and 7 Card Stud, plus a huge $1,650 Main Event with a guaranteed first prize of $100,000 and a world-class two day structure to be held on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 September.
Crown Poker Room Refurbishment
Refurbishment work will begin in the Poker Room on Monday 19 June and is expected to be complete by mid-August. During this time the room will remain open with 23 tables offering all regular tournaments and most cash games. Additional tables offering Holdem cash games will also be available from 6pm Thursday to Saturday in a new Poker Pit on Level 1. As a special offer for tournament players during the refurbishment, Crown will be reducing the cost of its Sunday tournament from $65 to $60 and also increasing the prize-pool in the $75 Saturday Tournament Series by $5 a player with no price increase. These new prices will take effect from Saturday 17 June 2006.
PlayStation2 Poker Giveaway
From 19 June to 31 July, Crown will be giving Poker players the chance to win one of four PlayStation2 Poker Packs valued at over $2,500 each, plus there are forty minor prizes to be won. Simply buy in to any Poker list cash game at the buy-in booth in the Poker Room on Level B2 or the Poker Pit on Level 1 and you’ll receive an entry token with a unique pin code. Then log on to crownpoker.com.au and enter your pin code to see if you’re an instant prize winner.
Super Poker Weekends
Crown’s June Super Poker Weekend saw a huge turnout with three players winning $10,500 Aussie Millions seats and a handful of high limit players battling it out with Joe Hachem in a $1,050 SitNGo tournament. Don’t miss Crown’s next Super Poker Weekend on 7-9 July 2006.
Congratulations to all eight Crown players who have won AU$17,000 WSOP packages at Crown in recent months. Good luck at the World Series in Las Vegas in July!
Specialty Cash Games
Crown’s new specialty cash games have been so popular that a new extended calendar beginning 1 July 2006 will be published soon. New games include 5 Card Stud, a variety of Manila games every Saturday night and a regular $1,050 SitNGo on Fridays.

6. PokerNetwork/PokerNews MANSIONPOKER.COM Poker Dome Freeroll
There was a strong PNW turnout for last Monday's PokerNetwork freeroll at MANSIONPOKER.COM, but the Poker Dome Challenge seat went elsewhere. With fields starting to get around the 300 mark in the 1c qualifiers (which are still offering fantastic overlay), and roughly 70 people in the last PokerNetwork freeroll, this is extremely good value. Remember the prize on offer for the winner is a $7000USD package which includes return flights to Las Vegas, VIP accommodation, 5-star hospitality and $500 in casino chips courtesy of MANSIONPOKER.COM, plus the chance to compete for a slice of a $2 million dollar prizepool on the Poker Dome Challenge.
The second PokerNetwork/PokerNews MANSIONPOKER.COM Poker Dome freeroll will be on Monday June 26 at 5:00am AEST. To be eligible, simply download MANSIONPOKER.COM through the PokerNetwork links, register a new account and make a deposit. If you previously signed up with Mansion for our Speed Poker giveaway last December you will also be able to enter. MANSION have just announced that due to problems with some players getting access to the first freeroll, they will host another EXCLUSIVE Dome freeroll just for PokerNetwork/PokerNews! It will take place at 05:00 AEST on July 17.
7. Absolute Poker $3000 Freeroll July 1
PokerNetwork is hosting a $3000 freeroll at Absolute Poker on July 1 at 10:00 AEST. In order to be able to play in this freeroll, you need to download Absolute Poker through the PokerNetwork links, register a new account, and play 300 raked hands before June 26th.

8. MANSIONPOKER.COM Superstar Challenge - 3 amateurs, 3 pros, $1 million dollars
We don't mean to keep harping on about MANSIONPOKER.COM, but they seem to be the ones consistently offering the best promotions for players. Their latest venture is the Superstar Challenge, in which three online qualifiers will compete with three professionals for a slice of a $1,000,000 prizepool with the top three players paid.
The free qualifiers are being held daily at 3:30am, 8:30am, and 12:30pm (AEST) until Sunday June 18. The top six players from each qualifier will go through to the final on Monday June 19 at 8:30am AEST, where the top two will progress to the Superstar Challenge, to be held on July 12.
In addition to receiving a $150,000 buyin, the internet qualifiers will also receive a one-week "poker boot camp" prior to the start of the challenge. And with names like Daniel Negreanu, Antonio Esfandiari, Marcel Luske and Jennifer Harman amongst those competing for the three pro spots on offer, they are going to need it!
