PokerNews Purchases ChipMeUp

Posted at 07:29 2009-01-04
With 2009 upon us PokerNews has announced the purchase of leading poker staking website ChipMeUp.com.

Players worldwide can buy and sell shares of themselves in all poker disciplines, a variety of buy-in amounts and from the online felt to live events such as the 2009 Aussie Millions, ANZPT and WSOP.

For those new to ChipMeUp, players sign up for free and create their own user profile. To purchase a stake in a player simply browse through the extensive list of events, choose the amount or percentage you wish to stake, and then transfer the funds accordingly. All the funds used to purchase a particular stake will go towards the player’s buy-in. While ChipMeUp does not charge for shares purchased, they do however charge a listing fee for when you sell a percentage of yourself.

With the strong online community that ChipMeUp and PokerNews now attracts, along with the ChipMeUp feedback service, all transactions are legitimate and actioned properly ensuring players receive their entitled share.

With the Aussie Millions only a few sleeps away, Tony G has decided to sell a percentage of himself in the upcoming Aussie Millions, so make sure you head to ChipMeUp to buy a piece of the 2009 Australian Poker Hall of Fame inductee.
