Qualify for the FTP 500 II on Full Tilt Poker

Well, now it’s time for the action to be brought to the luscious green felt as players sit side-by-side waiting to make that hero call or see that suck-out card on the river at the exclusive “Full Tilt Poker 500 II”.

After the successful and popular FTP 500 in 2010, Full Tilt Poker will again be holding a live tournament to test the abilities of players away from the computer screen.

The FTP 500 II will be taking place in association with the National Poker League at the East Leagues Club in Bondi Junction, Sydney, commencing Wednesday the 18th of May and wrapping up Friday the 20th of May.

The live tournament is set to feature a $500,000 prizepool and will be restricted to 250 players, many of whom will mange to lockup a seat by winning a satellite on Full Tilt Poker.

Weekly online qualifiers have already begun with player jasper1238 already lucky enough to snap up his seat at the live event in Sydney.

The $55 weekly qualifier satellite will be shown in the “live events” area of the “tournaments” section in the Full Tilt Poker lobby and will run every Sunday at 8:00 pm AEST. The satellite will reward one guaranteed prize package.

Full Tilt 500 II Prize Package Includes:

-       AUD$2,200 buy-in for the FTP 500 II live tournament.
-       USD$600 for flights to Sydney, accommodation and spending money.

The event will be exclusive to Australians and with entries capped at 250 it is sure to fill up fast.
