Satellite for Aussie Millions Heads Up Champs

Posted at 08:00 2006-10-29 PokerNetwork and TonyGPoker have launched an online satellite for the Australian Heads Up Poker Championship (AUD$5200) on Jan 16 at Crown Casino. The structure we developed means that the sixteen players needed for the satellite don't need to be playing at once. The first level is comprised of eight heads up sit and go's that cost US$250+25 to enter. The winners of those eight level 1 sit and go's are automatically entered into one of four level 2 events that will be held on Nov 15th. The winners of the four level 2 sit and go's will be entered into the two level 3 events on Nov 16th, and the winners of those will play the final heads up battle on Nov 17th to determine who will be playing amongst the pros at the Aussie Millions. The structures have been designed to give a lot of playing time; Level 1 sit and go's: 5000 start bank, 20min levels, 10/20, 25/50, 50/100, 75/150, 100/200, 150/300, 200/400, 300/600, 400/800, 500/1000. Level 2: 10000 start bank, 20min levels, 50/100, 75/150, 100/200, 150/300, 200/400, 300/600, 400/800, 500/1000, 600/1200, 700/1400, 800/1600, 900/1800, 1000/2000 Level 3: 20000 start bank, 20min levels, 100/200, 150/300, 200/400, 300/600, 400/800, 500/1000, 600/1200, 700/1400, 800/1600, 900/1800, 1000/2000 Final: 40000 start bank, 20min levels, 100/200, 150/300, 200/400, 300/600, 400/800, 500/1000, 600/1200, 700/1400, 800/1600, 900/1800, 1000/2000 If the eight level 1 sit and go's are played out well before Nov 15, then we will start another satellite. If you lose a level 1 event, you are able to re-enter another to try for level 2 again. PokerNetwork and TonyGPoker will be launching satellites for other Aussie Millions events over the next few weeks.
