Posted at 19:30 2013-08-03 by Sarah Grant

You follow players on Twitter, at tables in your favourite online poker rooms, through PokerNetwork live reporting and at live events, but how did they get their start? What were they doing before they discovered poker? We're here to answer those questions and more for you in Seat Open.

As a television writer and producer, Matt Salsberg burst onto the poker scene two years ago with a deep run in the WSOP Main Event, and has since been one of the most successful players on the tournament circuit. In this edition of Seat Open, Salsberg talks about his life growing up in Montreal and how he got into television writing before finding poker.
