Shane261966 And FlopNutsOnYou Lead The Aussie Monday Morning Assault!

Whilst most sane Australians sleep in as long as is humanly possible dreading the start of a Monday morning, the poker player jumps out of bed at 2:30am and starts playing the biggest online poker tournaments wondering if today will be the day that changes their life.
For “Shane261966” of Sydney it certainly was. He kicked of the Aussie assault on the Sunday majors in fine form with a win in the first event of the day. Shane won the PokerStars Sunday Warm Up event and picked up a well earned $100,334. I bet he is glad he got out of bed! “Shane261966” wasn’t the only Aussie to cash in the Sunday Warm Up as Jarred "FlopNutsOnYou" Graham finished in 126th place for $1,003.34.
It has certainly been an amazing week for Jarred Graham. The man from Adelaide is already regarded as one of Australia’s best online tournament players and he has also enjoyed some amazing live success so far this year. Not only did he earn himself a nice four-figure score in the Sunday Warm Up but he also final tabled this very same event last week for a score in excess of $30,000. Then, as if one cash wasn’t enough for the day, he also finished 2nd in this week’s Full Tilt Sunday Brawl for $54,146.40. So far this last fortnight Graham has won in excess of $90,000 and with his ability and dedication, it is a safe bet that we will see a lot more of him in the future!
Checking other significant cashes from Aussie Players over the Sunday Majors period, we saw the “Peppermint Hippo” Ali Khalil finish in 130th place in the PokerStars Sunday Million to pick up $1,800 - he was very unlucky not to go deeper. Also cashing in the Sunday Million was “MJOS” from Sydney who finished 164th for $1,650 (he also placed 6th in the $215 Heads Up tournament for $2,188.80) and “baggy001” from Cairns in 219th place for $1,350. Why anyone would want to be sitting on a computer in Cairns instead of prowling the beach looking for drunk English backpackers I will never understand...but well done all the same!
Arguable one of Australia’s toughest players, Steve "SteveoL" Leonard from Melbourne finished 12th in one of the world’s toughest tournaments, the $215 re-buy, and picked up $3,200.
There were also plenty of Aussie cashes on Full Tilt with their $535 buy-in, one million dollar guarantee tournament being held. Significant cashes went to Rayan "rkruok" Nathan in 42nd place for $2,000, “laff2er” finished in 120th for $1,200, Ben "CNT_CRUSHER" Delaney also picked up $1,200 for his 126th place finish and “the_bale” finished in 159th to score an even $1,000 for his troubles. In the Sunday Mulligan “TheFatFISH” finished 12th and won a nice $2,169.
