Time Is Running Out To Qualify For The $30,000 Guaranteed PokerNews Main Event

PokerNews, PokerNetwork and PokerStars have come together to bring you one of the best value tournaments you will play in this year; the $30,000 Guaranteed PokerNews Main Event.

The PokerNews Main Event is a special tournament being held on PokerStars that will only be open to our valued PokerNews and PokerNetwork players. There are three different routes you can take if you want to participate in this superb tournament, but one of these routes will be closed firmly shut on June 30.

Existing customers have until June 30 to earn just 150VPPs and if that total is reached a seat to the $30,000 PokerNews Main Event will be placed into your account! As an extra bonus, PokerStars will take into consideration all VPPs earned from May 16 so there is a chance that you have already qualified for a seat, and if not you may be much closer to grabbing one than you think.

If you do not manage to accumulate enough VPPs before the June 30 deadline then fear not because you can still play in the PokerNews Main Event but you will have to buy-in. The buy-in for this tournament has been set at just $10+$1, which is more than reasonable for an event that boasts a $30,000 prize pool. If you choose to buy-in directly then please be aware the tournament will be password protected and the password will not be released until closer to the July 9 start date.

All new customers who download PokerStars through PokerNews, enter the marketing code POKERNETWORK and use the bonus code STARS600 and make their first deposit will not only receive a 100% match up to $600 first deposit bonus but they will also find a token for the PokerNews Main Event placed into their account!

When the $30,000 PokerNews Main Event kicks off, at 14:00ET on Monday 9 July, each player will start with a generous stack of 30,000 chips and play to blind structure that starts at 50/100 and increases every 15-minutes. This particular structure really should help the cream rise to the top of the chip counts and thanks to the limited field size the prize for winning should be substantial to say the least.
