TCOOP Event #24: $109 PL Omaha Hi/Lo 6-Max

Yet another TCOOP event smashed its guaranteed prize pool amount, Event #24 almost doubling the money on offer. $148,100 was up for grabs, the top 192 finishers helping themselves to a slice of it. Players such as Team PokerStars Online Roy “GodlikeROy” Bhasin and Team PokerStars Pro for Poland Marcin “Goral” Horecki were among the money winners.

The largest payout is nestled in the PokerStars account of “PSMozak,” a Bulgarian who is now $24,436.71 richer than he was just a couple of days ago! Congratulations.

TCOOP Event #26: $27 Stud

Some say Seven-Card Stud is a game that is slowly dying off due, in part, to the popularity of flop games such as Hold’em and Omaha. But if you checked the PokerStars client yesterday evening you would be forgiven for not being of this train of thought as you would have seen 2,407 players competing in TCOOP Event #26.

The final table was dominated by Russian players, four of the eight calling Russia home. The winner, Russian of course, was “recusant_89” who chopped with fellow Russian, “Pavel_Frants” to take home $9,446.05.

Some of those who made it into the money places included Sam “SamSquid” Grafton; Laurence “rivermanl” Houghton and Marty “TheLipoFund” Mathis.
