As the Turbo Championship Of Online Poker (TCOOP) entered its final stages, it showed no signs of slowing down. And why would it? The TCOOP is the fastest pace tournament series available today. Here is a recap of the results from Days 9 and 10 of the TCOOP.
TCOOP Event #37: $27 PL Omaha 6-Max 2R1A
Event #37 was the $27 buy-in pot limit Omaha six-max tournament that allowed each player to rebuy twice and add-on at the break. This format saw 3,347 rebuys, 755 add-ons and a prize pool of $175,947.40 – more than three times the original guarantee!
TCOOP Event #38: $215 NL Hold’em Ante Up
Surprisingly, Event #38 failed to reach its lofty $500,000 guarantee after “only” 1,973 players bought into the Ante Up tournament. This particular format sees the blinds stay constant at 5/5 but the antes increase with each level played out. Australia’s “outlaw523” took full advantage of the $100,000+ overlay, turning his $215 into $80,000 over the course of five hours!
TCOOP Event #39: $82 FL Hold’em 6-Max
In a world dominated by no limit betting structures, Event #39 saw focus switch to min-betting. By the time registration ended, 1,400 players had bought in and created a prize pool of $105,000. The lion’s share of this prize pool now resides in the account of “LCFG-NPDA”, Event #39’s victor.
TCOOP Event #40: $215 HORSE
A significant crowd of 564 players exchanged $215 for 5,000 tournament chips in Event #40, the HORSE tournament. The tournament ended in a six-way chop that skewed the payouts somewhat. Check them out below:

TCOOP Event #41: $215 PL Omaha Heads-Up Super-Knockout
Event #41 was action packed from the start, as one-on-one pot limit Omaha generally is. PokerStars added into the mix a super-knockout format, meaning that along with progressing to the next round, anyone eliminating a player also picked up a $103 bounty!
“ongggg” and “huevo2000” chopped the remaining prize pool in the final match of the tournament, the former walking away with $1,500 more than the latter after emerging victorius.
TCOOP Event #42: $27+R NL Hold’em 2x-Turbo
A bumper crowd of 8,587 players turned out for the 42nd event of the series, making 13,346 rebuys and buying 4,366 add-ons! This action saw the $300,000 guarantee not only met, but completely smashed — $645,640.45 was up for grabs.
The highest profile player to go deep in this particular tournament was the Team PokerStars Pro Marcel Luske, who finished in third place (after a three-way chop) for a cool $58,510.24.

TCOOP Event #43: $109 NL Omaha Hi/Lo 6-Max Hyper-Turbo
No Limit Omaha played to a hyper-turbo format with players seated at six handed tables was always going to be a fast and furious event, but nobody expected 1,360 entrants to be whittled down to just one survivor after just 97 minutes! But that is exactly what happened, here are the results.
