What’s the going rate for a Porsche from the PokerStars FPP store? Only SuperNova status and about three million FPPs.
While most of us don’t have SuperNova status or multiple millions worth of FPPs just lying around, PokerStars is giving everyone a rare shot at winning a Porsche Cayman S on Monday June 1, at 4:30am AEST.
It’s well publicised that Dario Minieri became the first player to buy a Porsche with FPPs, but with thanks to the PokerStars Turbo takedown you don’t have to be a slave to the grind like Dario. The PokerStars Turbo Takedown, a monthly FPP buy-in event, will hold a once-only event with a reduced buy-in of 2,000 FPPs and a Porsche awarded to the winner on top of the already guaranteed US$1 million prize pool. If players don’t feel like shelling out the full 2,000 FPP buy-in, they can satellite into the tournament for as few as 8 FPPs.
The Turbo Takedown is a unique tournament with one-in-three players getting paid. It’s just one of the ways PokerStars says thanks to its players for their loyalty. However players should act fast as the tournament will prove to be popular and is capped at 30,000 entrants.
May Turbo Takedown Summary
* Buy-in reduced to 2,000 FPP (usually 5,000 FPP)
