Posted at 09:00 2012-09-10 by Brian Hurst

The World Poker Tour and all of the glitz and glamour that comes with it is currently in Paris, France for the WPT Grand Prix de Paris.

From Sept.10 through to Sept.15 some of the best poker players in the world will descend on the world famous Aviation Club de France to compete in the €7,500 buy-in event, which is being played as a Re-entry format this season. Along with some famous faces at the felt, there will be the likes of Mike Sexton and the delectable Royal Flush Girls in attendance too.

Last year it was Matt Waxman who left Paris as a champion, picking up €500,000 for his troubles and becoming the first-ever American winner of a European-based World Poker Tour open event. Could we have an Australian winner this time around? Whoever does go all of the way and wins WPT Grand Prix de Paris will have their name written into the history books alongside former Paris champions David Benyamine, Surinder Sunar, Roland de Wolfe, Christian Grundtvig and Team PokerStars Pro Theo Jorgensen.
