ReadPoker players from around the country are descending upon the harbour city as the 2009 APPT Sydney preliminary events have kicked off in the build up to the season-ending PokerStars.net APPT Grand Final Main Event next week. The opening event was a $1,100 No Limit Holdem Deep Stack event with Germany’s Dominik Meyer overcoming Team PokerStars Pro Lee “Final Table” Nelson heads up to take the title.
