Melbourne Poker Championships Online Satellites

This years Melbourne Poker Championship is shaping up to be one of the biggest events on the Australasian calendar. The Crown Poker Room have already started an intensive Satellite program for the event, with weekly chances for players to win their way through to the $1100 Main Event, and now some of the biggest Online Poker Rooms are throwing their support behind the event by running Satellites. Commencing Sunday 9th March, 888Poker.com will be running weekly Satellites, with daily qualifiers making it easy to enter. Every Sunday at 8pm Melbourne time, 888Poker.com are running $105+10 Super Satellites, where one in ten players will receive an entry into the 2008 Melbourne Poker Championship Main Event. There are daily $23+2 feeder Satellites held at 9pm, with one in five players gaining entry into the weekly Super Satellite. There are also $5+0.50 daily sub qualifiers into the feeder Satellites, where one in five players will qualify for the $25 Satellite. On top of this, 888Poker.com are also running 2 Freerolls, with the winners gaining entry into the Melbourne Champs for FREE! The first one is on Wednesday 12th March at 8pm Melbourne time and the second is on Sunday 6th April at 8pm. The only qualification requirement is that you are from Australia/ New Zealand. Full Tilt Poker have also pledged their support of the Championships and are running a $50+5 Satellite every Sunday night at 8pm Melbourne time, guaranteeing one USD$1500 package to the event each week. The first Satellite is on Sunday 16th March, and will continue every Sunday until the 11th May. There are THREE daily qualifiers into each Sunday’s Satellite, at 5:55pm ($14+1 to enter), 7:55pm ($8+0.80) and 9:55pm ($14+1) every day on FullTiltPoker.com.
