Draft release for PNW players to be approved by Crown before internal release. 080514 Pokernetwork is pleased to announce the presentation of the Pokernetwork 2007 Annual Awards at the Crown Casino Poker Room 7pm Sunday 18 May. The winners are: All time winner 2001-2007 - Lee Nelson Player of the year 2007 - Jozef Berec Junior Player of the year - Grant Levy Lady Player of the year - Tania Hill Congratulations to Lee, Jozef, Grant, Tania and all players and staff who have taken part in this year 2007 off line Casino tournament events. We would also like to announce the branding of the inaugural Pokernetwork annual event "Champion of Champions" to be held at Crown during the Pokernnews Cup October 2008. This will be an invitational Bracelet event for all Australasian players who have won a Poker Casino tournament event at home or abroad. Format and structure by Jonno. Details will be announced with the Pokernews Cup brochure. For some years we have been examining an Australasian Poker Hall of Fame to honour our Pokermasters and Legends and we are now in a position to finalise the detail. The awards will be made during the Aussie Millions 2009 and full details will be in the next edition of Bluff Australasia.
Our website upgrade is approaching finalisation and will soon be ready for inhouse testing. This will reduce our earlier limitations with design and offer a world standard presentation. We hope the new site will be active for the Pokernews Cup, if not before. Finally may we thank all of our Casino associates and pokernetworkers for their support in 2007.
