Nick Assioti - Aus
Featured veteran for many years and well known ‘gamblin man’ from Adelaide. Recent big win at the Crown Vic Championships will lead him into form for the 2007 Millions.
Nick Georgoulas - AUS
The ‘Greek’ is an Australasian champion in many poker skills. 1999 National Champion Adelaide he continues to star in tournaments at Crown with a big performance throughout 2006. Has the skill to mix with the talented 2007 field.

Nick Suter
Promising young cash and online player from the West who took out the AM2007 Event 2 LHE. Looks good for the main event. Paul Efferney

Crown satellite winner with strong local form. AUD40k in prize money last year.
Peter Aristidou
Crown satellite winner with some 20 local cash finishes over the last year.
Peter Jones
One of our most successful players of the nineties. Twice Australasian Champion 1988 and 92. Gone bush for a few years but will be noticed if he returns.
Peter Pratis - Aus
Some nice final table finishes in tournaments at Crown over the last two years. Expect he will make some showing.
Peter Mordaunt - Aus
Aged gelding who plays like a 2 year old. Peter is in the top 20 of Australian players over the last 6 years. Patient and consistent performer in most poker skills, he is the veteran to watch.
Peter Verey - Aus
Another persistent player at Crown over the last two years with some success in minor tournaments.
Ralph Burd - AUS
High roller player with plenty of experience at home and overseas. Unlucky in the Million dollar challenge in 2006 but made up for it with a handy 3rd place AUD75K in the 2005 Millions.. Expect to see him take home some cash in 2007.
Ray Walter-Aus
Frequent player who has been knocking on the door of a final table for two years. Some experience in Europe he can be expected to show up 2007.
Rayan Nathan - Aus
A relative newcomer on the scene he has yet to break through.
Ricky Gov - Aus
Promising Young Gun who is expected to rise to the challenge in 2007.
Richard Holmes
High roller ‘smoothy’ from the Gold Coast with many wins at Crown and overseas. If he has enough sleep he will feature.
Roman Pesochinsky
An experienced player who hit top form in the Crown Vic 2006 taking out line honours. Multi skilled with a chance for 2007.
Rosa Bennett
Rising star 2004/05 she is ready to make a strong showing this year.
Roy Vandersluis
Veteran player with a big Omaha win at the recent Crown Vic 2006. He has the skills and experience to feature in 2007.
Russell Davies
Big Final Table at the 2006 Millions saw him take away AUD167K for his effort. He has followed this with some good overseas performances. Should be amongst the finalists this year.
Sam Khouiss
Top veteran Aussie player. Former Australasian Champion 2001. Currently second on the all time PNW ranking and 3rd on the 2006 PNW ranking he has a constant record of cash wins behind him. He is one of the favourites for 2007.
Sam Korman - Aus
Crown and PNW ranked Champion 2001 and PNW ranked Champion again in 2004 Sam continues to star in what was a big decade in Adelaide. Australasian champion 1995 with a string of final tables to his credit. Currently in the top ten of overall performances he only needs a little help to make a dent in the 2007 Millions.
Sarah Bilney - Aus
A USD146K pick up in the 2005 WSOP followed by 5 cash finishes in the 2006 WSOP puts this little lady amongst the favourites for her own Aussie Millions.
Stephen Russell
Crown satellite winner with some local form.
Steve Hegyi - Aus
Veteran Aussie player with a string of victories in Adelaide and Canberra and elsewhere. Big result in the 2006 Millions with a dual Omaha and Omaha HiLo win for a total of AUD140K. Recent form augers well for the 2007 carnival.
Steve Wise - Aus
Veteran player returning after a spell in the paddock. Had a good run in the Crown Vic 2006 with three cash finishes. A return to Holdem form will put him amongst the winners in 2007.
Tam Turner
Former Westies Poker Supremo and Crown enthusiast, now Mother Superior of the Young Guns. Believed she will withdraw from the Main Event to take up a coaching role. Tino Lechich - Aus
One of the Aussie veteran star players with a string of local and overseas victories. Prominent cash high roller. Well experienced at home and abroad. WPT 2003 USD131K and 2005 WPT USD65K plus 3 cash finishes in the 2005 Aussie Millions puts him amongst the favourites.
Tony Hachem - Aus
Well-performed player at Crown who is looking for some success at the 2007 Millions.
Tony Frasca
Back to back Australasian Champion 1998 and 99 but has not played recently. Will be prominent if he returns.
. Tony Guoga - Aus
Tony is amongst the top world players both cash and tournament as well as a poker administrator and business man. Former young ‘Mad Russian’ at Adelaide he continues to make an impact on TV or wherever he plays. He is bringing a Pokernetwork team to the 2007 Millions. One of the favourites.Recent big win at the Betfair Asian Poker Championships enhance his chances.
Tony Trimachi Veteran Crown player who has been a constant supporter of poker over the years. Must be considered. Van Marcus - Aus
Experienced young player with two cash finishes at the 2006 WSOP and a number of final tables Crown 2004 and 2005.
Vince Larosa
Veteran player with many wins under his belt. Will be at the Millions 2007 for his annual pilgrimage.
Vince Moro
Veteran player who has had many successes Adelaide and Crown. Always ready for an another opportunity. PNW satellite winner with nothing to lose.
Vic Thornton – Aus
Veteran Crown player from New Zealand and Canberra. Can be trusted to make a showing again.
Warren Pritchard
Frequent prominent Crown player who will be a danger if he plays.
Wes Bugiera - Aus
Star of the 2006 carnival and veteran player since 1987. Currently in the top ten of the Rankings for 2006. Will challenge if health permits.
There are many more players who have indicated that they MAY be coming Down Under for the trip and there will be some who will scratch. Some may or may not be included above. There are others who say they are not coming who will turn up.
Come January 2007 we can see a final list of the top 120 players and then go firm on the top 120 players for the Millions. They will be the best performers but whether the favourite will win is another matter. Last year I indicated on a bookies’ round of 15% with 400 players the starting price for the Field (Field = all those players not selected in the top 120) would be 11/8. If the players go to 1000, anything could happen.
