That's A Wrap
After a whopping 347 players took to the felt for Day 1b of the 2009 Melbourne Poker Championships, we're now left with around 150 players who will join the Day 1a survivors for Day 2 of play on Sunday. Many took the challenge to gamble it up, safe in the knowledge that they had a second chance tomorrow. Others with healthy stacks include Nobbi Tanaka, Eugene Portlen and David Zhao.
We'll be back tomorrow for the repechage day which should boost the total number of entrants in the Main Event to well over 800 players. Our coverage kicks off at 12:10pm, so we look forward to your company then!
