Day 1b All Done!
Another great day in the Star City poker room today saw the starting field cut down to just 138.Martin Comer was an early casualty while defending Champion Paren Arzoomanian also fell early when his Kings were rivered by Jacks. Jonathan Karamalikis was unable to carry his High Rollers Event form into the Main Event also hitting the sidelines early while Jeff Lisandro never gathered any momentum today and exited early too.
Leading the day 1b field is cash game player Michael Manttan with an amassed 116,800 in chips. Trailing him slightly are Patrick Woodley (116,200), Mile Krstanoski (112,800), Michael Pedley (104,200), Tony Hachem (95,000) and Lee Nelson (92,700).
Still in contention are ANZPT Queensland Champion Scott Kerr (69,200), Aussie Millions Champion Tyron Krost (56,200), Joel Dodds (48,800), Stewart Scott (41,900) and Emad Tahtouh (38,400).
Tomorrow will see both flight one and two fields merge to see the remaining 209 players take to the felt to battle it out over seven levels until we reach the money.
