All Set For Day 2!
The final flight for Event 1 of the 2009 Aussie Millions is finally wrapped up for the night!459 hopefuls took to the felt today to take the field to a massive 1,143 which led to a $1,143,000 prizepool and $200,025 first prize.
Local hopefuls Andrew Oataway, Paul Khoury, Emad Tahtouh, Tony Dunst, Andrew Jeffreys and 2005 WSOP Champion Joe Hachem were just a handful of those unable to make it through to Day 2.
84 players did however bag their chips at the end of the day with Nicolas Haidaris leading the charge with 165,300. Right on his back were Peter Aristidou (142,400), Luke McLean (115,200) and Callum Ford (97,200).
Still in the hunt are Bruno Portaro (88,300), David Saab (60,100), Brendon Edmonds (50,200) and Con Tsapkounis (43,200).
