NOTES.

* The Australasian Rankings are restricted to Australian and New Zealand players, competing in Australasian casinos in events open to all.
* There must be three days of open events,
OR
A single event may qualify, as long as the buyin is more than AUD$1,000.
* The events must be listed on PokerNetwork at least 90 days before commencement.
* Satellites, single table events, and restricted events (ie ladies, over 30’s) will not count as ranked events.
* Tournaments must have a minimum of 15 players to be ranked.
* All Tournaments must be sanctioned by PokerNetwork to qualify. There may be exceptions to these rules – please discuss this with us.

*The formula (2007):
Position Factor X Buyin Factor X Entry Factor. ( 1 AUD = 1 NZD)

Position Factor:
1st - 150
2nd - 120
3rd - 100
4th - 80
5th - 70
6th - 60
7th - 50
8th - 40
9th - 30
10th and above* – 20
*all places that received prizemoney.

Buyin Factor
$100-$299 – 1.5
$300-$749 – 2.0
$750-$1,999 – 2.5
$2,000-$4999 – 3.0
$5,000-$9999 – 3.5
$10,000 and above – 4.0
(all amounts in AUD)

Entry Factor (number of entrants)
15-49 – 1.0
50-99 – 1.5
100-149 – 2.0
150-299 – 2.5
300-499 – 3.0
500-749 – 3.5
750 and above – 4.0

Example - player wins a tournament with a buy-in of AUD$300 and 160 entries.
The formula used to calculate the Pokernetwork Rankings is:
150 (Pos Factor) X 2(Buyin Factor) X 2.5 (Entry Factor)

Total Ranking Points = 750.
