Statement from PokerStars

PokerStars has begun the return of player funds to former customers in the US

27 April 2011 – 15:00

In agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice, PokerStars has made arrangements with a US bank and today began the process of returning player funds to former customers in the US.

The funds to cover these withdrawal requests are readily available.
All player deposits for players outside the U.S. are also completely safe and secure. PokerStars has always held all such funds in accounts that are segregated from company assets, in compliance with the strict licensing laws of the Isle of Man.

The company continues to operate outside the U.S. under the PokerStars - USA domain name and retains its position as the world’s number one poker site.

Global PN freeroll is underway with just 38 runners and a number of sitouts! Winner gets a seat in the $9,000 WSOP Freeroll!

Just 9 registrations so far for the Australian freeroll at 8pm - remember the top ten at the end of the series play off for a $4,500 WSOP package. You can do the math and figure out this is great value!

The most likely reason for the error is that you are in fact not tracked to PNW.

We're happy to check what we can at our end with your username, but it sounds like you have a unique situation with your multi-account issue. If your affiliate tracker was lost in this switch, this is an issue to follow up with 888 as there's nothing we can do at this end.

P.S. When Pacific and 888 joined, I was with
both, at least one was loaded through PNW but
I thought they both were. Some info may have

Pacific and 888 are one at the same, so if you're receiving that message then it means that your account is not a PokerNetwork/PokerNews referred account. Sorry about that.

Just a reminder that this event is on tonight at 8pm and it's a freeroll!!

At the moment there are just 5 entries so there's a great chance to grab some early points in the league!

You'll find the tournament under the "Restricted" tab in the tournament lobby. Also one hour before, at 7pm there's a WSOP freeroll for the global PN promotion where you can win your way into the $9,000 final.

Full Tilt have just issued the following press release:

Full Tilt Poker™ Supports Poker Players And Its Chief Executive

Dublin Ireland (April 15, 2011)- Full Tilt Poker is saddened by today’s charges against its CEO Raymond Bitar and offers its full support to Mr. Bitar and Nelson Burtnick.

Online poker is a game of skill enjoyed by tens of millions of people in the United States and across the world. And, Full Tilt Poker remains as committed as ever to preserving the rights of those players to play the game they love online.

Mr. Bitar and Full Tilt Poker believe online poker is legal – a position also taken by some of the best legal minds in the United States. Full Tilt Poker is, and has always been committed to preserving the integrity of the game and abiding by the law.

“I am surprised and disappointed by the government’s decision to bring these charges. I look forward to Mr. Burtnick’s and my exoneration,” said Mr. Bitar.

Unfortunately, as a result of this action, Full Tilt Poker has decided that it must suspend “real money” play in the United States until this case is resolved. However, Full Tilt Poker will continue to provide peer-to-peer online poker services outside of the United States.
