I am very intrigued to hear this story.

Rubie has been publicised as a nice guy young gun through pokernews interviews etc etc.

But he has:

1. multi-accounted = cheated
2. not paid his debt = lying degenerate
3. been broke from playing poker a number of times

Why should this type of person be Idolised and given publicity etc.

I love reading these stories of broke people who think they are going to make it Big (or think they are already big) balla poker players.

I must admit I like being a recreational player... I run a business so poker is just my only "hobby". I like playing the big money tournaments if I satty in... and this year I want to play around 4-5 this year if i can

Just letting the broader community know if you are playing the main event, there is options for players to request for a discounted room @ metropol. It is competitive.

Process -
Go to the Aussie Millions page, and select Plan Your Stay. Fill in the inquiry form. 24 hrs later someone will contact you with instructions should you want to take up the offer.

Having done this process myself... I am happy with the outcome... and glad I am staying @ Metropol (being my home away from home anyways )

Cervo at crown is pretty good for Breakfast too, not a bad price and IMO better than automatic anyday - coffee at cervo is nicer than automatic.

Cafe Greco was also awesome but no longer there.

Why not try Number 8, instead of rockpool. yes rockpool is the bees knees, but you gotta be in a suit basically or be known to eat there. Plus reservations are usually mandatory.
