| 2010 08 31 07:49 pm if you can afford to put 200 online go for it. play $10 untill you can move up and go from there. I think what really stands out about your post is "but its so all over the place at that level cause you cant play certain bluffs and you have to ABC it" Where a lot of micro players let them selves down is that that try certain bluff when it isn't necessary. there is no point bluffing someone unless you know why you are doing it and what you expect them to do with there range of holdings or its just wasted money. If your playing at that level then i doubt you have the skills for this and should just stick to playing tight straight forward poker. Value bet the hell out of them and build your roll up. You don't need to bluff to win. |
| 2010 08 30 08:36 pm Play what ever game your best at. no point playing a game someone recommends if you cant beat it. if you are winning at cash play cash if your winning at sng play them |

Re: Fevola's gambling problems include poker! 2010 04 17 05:20 pmi dont see the big deal with his 250k debt. it doesnt say he lost it over 1 year this debt could of taken 3 or 4 years to get that high and that % of his earnings is very small. It sounds alot to the average person but its only relative to what you earn |
Re: Win-rate question 25nl Full-Ring 2010 04 13 08:08 pmjust move up. the best way to improve is to challenge yourself and review your hands. NO point staying at certain limits for long periods of time just for the sake of playing certain amount of hands. it wont improve your game. Also playing less tables and concentrating more on players plays and way to exploit these is better then playing 12 to 16 tables and just going thou the motions. You will be missing out on spots that you don't see when mass tabling that you will clearly see when playing less. Give your self a certain amount of buy ins for your shot and if things don't go well you can always move down. Even if you come back down you will have improved |

Re: SS'rs in 6Max affecting my VP$IP... 2010 01 16 07:51 amMy opening amount is the same with ss in the blinds. my stealing range changes thou depending on there stats, if they 3 bet wide ill only open hands i will get it in with against then. If they dont 3 bet light my range doesnt change |
Re: Star City $1/$2 Cash NLHE AK 2010 01 16 07:18 amTo me pushing the flop shows more strength then the bet of 25. Betting 25 into that pot does not really leave you with an option if he pushes. you have put in over half your stack. Would be good your you to download pokerstove and play with it for a while to understand how your hand is against his range. Its also good for you to use to see how common spots and situations fair against different hands. |
