| ASIA & ANPZT Player Of The Year Changes | 2011 01 28 07:36 pm | Hello all. Some changes have been made to both of these Player of the Year awards. Asia Player of the YearPokerStars Macau - Macau Cup Leaderboard - Live Poker Tournament In addition to all PokerStars Macau regional events counting towards this award, Asia based APPT events will also count plus select other events/venues such as Metro Manila etc. Champion receives one year sponsorship at PokerStars Macau plus minor prizes. ANZPT Player of the Year ANZPT - ANZPT Player of the Year - Qualify for the Australia New Zealand Poker Tour Now changed to Australia New Zealand Player of the Year as all pokerstars sponsored events in Australia and New Zealand will count towards this award. Prizes are the same. Minor changes to points system: - weighting of .75 for buyins under 2k - weighting of 1.5 for buyins over 3k Need to play 7 events to get 20 points participation boost. |
