Re: WTF is happening to this country ?

I dont really follow their religion much as i dont really care. But is this lot the same people that require cows to be tortured to shit while killing them (no electric shock allowed) so they are allowed to eat the meat. Also if anyone who plans to rob anything reads this can you please wear a burque/burger/whatever there called while doing it. Surely that will get this mess sorted. I figure if you come to Australia please act a tiny bit Australian or else why bother being here at all.

Re: T. R. King Poker Chips For Sale

2011 06 16 09:35 pm
They have probably been through 5 or 6 people or more for all i know. I know the bloke i bought them from in Hawaii bought them from someone in the US who didnt know their origin either. Thats at least 4 people who have owned them. It doesnt really matter. I tried to find out their history but couldnt find anything. They are at least 10 years old and could be 30 or 40 years old for all i know. There not like a computer that depreciates. There condition is all that matters and these have minimal wear. Chips like these and ex casino chips are like basketball cards. There collectable. If you buy the right set of chips and shove em in the cupboard you could make $1000's in 10 or 20 years, same as basketball cards. Thats not why i have chips though. I just enjoy trying out different kinds of chips in my games. Ive owned pretty much every kind of decent chip available and love it. Some people blow their money on cars or guns or artwork or whatever but i blow it on chips.

T. R. King Poker Chips For Sale

2011 06 11 09:46 pm
This lot of chips were made by the now closed down T.R. King Chip Company who made chips for casinos and private custom orders.
I dont know anything much about these chips.
There one of the favourite chips amongst my poker group for their nice playability. They have plenty of grip to stack well and sound nice.
They have a gold "BR" hotstamp on both sides. If your first or last name starts with B your set. They could stand for B_ _ _ 's Room, or just make some shit up.
If you play for decent stakes and worry about people smuggling in chips you dont need to worry about it with this lot. They would be impossible to replicate.
They are in used but excellent condition.

There are 499 total - 199 Tan, 150 Blue, 150 Red.
As usual i will include a new 2 deck box of plastic playing cards.
There is no case with this lot but will be posted in 5 x 100 chip cardboard carriers that are great for keeping the chips in anyway.

These chips originally cost me $330 (I bought them second hand from the US)
I will sell them for $300 + postage. I wont be dropping the price on these at all because I dont mind keeping them.

If you want to see positive feedback do a search, I have sold plenty of sets on this forum, all with very happy customers.

Cheap Paulson Used Casino Chips For Sale

2011 05 01 02:32 pm
For sale are 600 Genuine Casino Chips from the now closed President Casino on the Admiral St. Louis, Missouri. These are real Paulson 39mm clay chips
These chips are in Casino Used condition. The $1 chips are the most worn.
They dont look as nice as new paulsons but in play there great and easy to handle.
The pics are huge and make the condition of the chips look worse then they really are.
They sound nice and stack well.
The breakdown is (including spares of each denomination)
206 x 50c chips
209 x $1 chips
105 x $5 chips
105 x $25 chips
My asking price for these is $330 and includes a 2 deck box of new plastic playing cards.
Price Lowered to $290 posted

Dealer is always SB and acts first preflop and second postflop.
Sometimes you have no BB first hand of HU if the same person would have it two hands in a row.

Have had a extended account for years and love it. If you cash out a large amount of money and dont need it in a hurry i would recommend requesting a bank draft in US dollars to be sent to you. Costs about $10 but you can choose when to take the bank draft into your bank so you can track the exchange rates and pick a good day to deposit it. also when you deposit your bank pays the exact current exchange rate instead of ripping you off. this can be worth 2-5%. And for some of you highrollers 5% of 100k is a fair bit

Re: U play my $216 Steps ticket

Didnt do any good. had about 12k after 2nd break. Then couldnt get any cards or good spots to steal blinds. Wittled away until i eventually shoved about 6k on button with J8 (first time i was in a late spot without a raise before me) and snap called by sb with AK. Flopped 14 outs but didnt hit. GG

Im now planning to use the ticket for FTOPS event 1.
Should be fun for an hour or two.
Checked out the matrix games but nobody seems to play these at higher stakes

Re: U play my $216 Steps ticket

Cheers for the replys guys. Knew it was a stupid idea but had to throw it out there to see what info got thrown back at me.

The idea of using it in a matrix tournament seems like a good one to get a bit back.
I have no time for big field MTT's. (Baby & 3yo + house to reno and 40hr wk job = no pker for me.)

Please continue to flame this thread as much as possible, cheers.

yeah im kinda expecting this kinda reply. probably a completely stupid idea.

U play my $216 Steps ticket

2010 11 05 11:42 pm
I recently accidently played a $8 steps sitngo. Long story short i ran it up to a $216 ticket. I usually play $5 type games and i know me playing this ticket in a large field event is a complete waste of time as i will play scared and completely shit.

Soooo I was thinking.
I give my details to a trustworthy reg on here that usually plays these stakes
He uses my account to play a tourney he would have normally played anyway and xfers any winnings to his account immediately after the tourney finishes.

Of course he pays an agreed amount (lower then the $216) which he xfers or leaves in my account after hes busted or cashed.

Is this do-able or ridiculous or what?
anyone interested?
