Albert Park -

Made effort to watch this years formula 1 from practice through to race day, was pretty excited to get back into things but have to say that the race was fairly boring with Vettel leading the whole way (+ 22 Seconds eventually), Webber inevitably comming in 5th after qualifying 3rd and blaming his soft tyre compound for not being able to outpace Alonso.

Anyway wanted to get thought's on weather anyone believes both Red Bull RB7's are the same car? and weather theres some major favourtism issues going on within red bull already in regards to pit stop stratergies, i.e. Vettel having a clear path every time he would exit pits whilst Webber always seemed to find traffic.

Did find the KERS system interesting, think alot of drivers still need to work out how to use it properly and perfect technique but should make for some good racing later in the season. The adjustable rear wing was a little LOL but comparing cars that would use it on the straights and cars that wouldnt I can say that i did notice a slight increase in speed for the ones that did.

Think The tyres a pretty LOL this season with teams already complaining about tyre life & quality issues with the pirelli's.

FIA GT1-

Got to watch the Abu Dhabi race early sunday morning after comming home from clubbing, all I got to say is this was a very entertaining race, alot of race leader changes within the last 10 mins made for a great show. Heaps of dilema's in the pit stop with the race leader and 2nd place car (Skyline & GT40) both pitting at the same time and completing pit stops within milliseconds of eachother only to have them both leave at the same time & crash into eachother & still battl it out IN PIT LANE to see who will exit first.

Looking forward to the next race to be held in Zolder, Germany in about 12 days time.
Worst Holiday's you have ever been on.2011 03 17

As some of you might know I was away on Holidays all of last week, I infact spent the week in Bali of all places. I had been there once before and had stayed in an area known as Nusa Dua which is supposedly meant to be the nicer part of the island. I didnt really enjoy my stay when I first went other than the time I spent within the resort/estate complex. I actually gave myself a mental note to never return to this part of the world.

Fast forward a few years and my father in-law ask's me to go with him back to Bali so he could buy some furniture to send back to Aus, he said it would be good to bring the Mrs along & a few friends so we could make it part business part pleasure, I reluctantly agreed after much convincing from my wife and the fact that my friends were suprisingly keen to get out of Sydney for a break.

As my inlaws and friends couldnt afford the hotel I wanted to stay in & considering it was atleast an hour and a half out of anywhere populated we booked a 4 and a half star in Legian.

I have to say apart from the fact the tap/shower water smelt like sewerage i didnt mind the hotel, it was quit nice & right on the beach.

This was probably one of the worst Holidays ive ever been to in my entire life, the beach = Dirty, the food = Crap, the local people = scummy rip of merchants, the weather = sticky hot with the random monsoon. you constantly have to be on your guard so as to not get riped off, watch your shoping to make sure no one steals of you, watch out that no1 is harrasing the mrs doesnt make for a relaxing holiday.

The fact that i got food poisioning when i was exclusivley eating hotel & reputable restaurant food only was enough to put me of for life. match this with the fact that right after i semi recovered from food poisioning I had to go back into the hospital for alcohole poisioning just really pissed me off, yes somebody had spiked my drink and was waiting for me to fall but being the chemical head i am i was able to ride the high for quit some time before i realised something was up. $600 aussie dollars later i was able to leave, pack my shit and fly home, right after i paid my departure tax offcourse (this is after paying USD 25 for an entry visa)

This was another issue, decided to fly jetstar instead of virgin as the lfight times suited us better, so annoying having to pay for absoloutely everything, soft drinks = $3, Tv unit = $25, food = $13, just a blatant rip off and the tickets werent even that cheap.

All in all i do not reccomend anyone travel to this part of the world, spend the extra bit of $$$ and go to Europe or the USA.

Anyone else care to share there worst holiday stories?
Supposedly Berating a player?2011 03 04

Just a bit of a social line check-

Playing a live tourney, Blinds are 1000/2000, Effective stacks are me with $65,000, UTG with $75,000 - $80,000 & MP with over 100K playing 7 handed atm.

I'm in the BB, UTG limps, a couple of folds, Hyper aggresive asian dude in MP raises 15K, I flat with Ac,9c and the limper comes along for the ride.

Flop: Jh,Ah,7d

BB: Check

UTG: Check

MP: Bet's 15K ( lol wtf?)

BB: All In

UTG: Tank for about an hour & flat calls

MP: Tank folds

He then proceeds to show down 2h,5h

I look at him and comment "cant believe you called 90% of your stack off with that shit"

He keeps a smile on his face expecting his flush to appear any minute now

Turn Bricks as does River

He then start going on a 5 minute plus rant about how I shouldn't comment or berate him about his hand, when I tell him his a "Shit C*nt" this just fuel's his rant even more.

After another 10 mins or so he finally manages to tilt of his last 10K or so and as his leaving he digs his finger into my shoulder telling me to remeber what he said.

What i want to know is am i within my right to punch this fucker in the nose when he dug his finger into my shoulder? Am I within my right to laugh at his hand and tell him his an ass with no idea?

Shit like this puts me off playing live but i do enjoy catching up with mates over some card.

What do?
